Hi, It sure is good to be back. This past weekend I returned from vacation in France with my wife where we were cruising the canals just outside of Strasbourg. It was a great deal of fun. I have to say, every trader needs and deserves a break away from the markets. Normally the August markets are fairly quiet, so it seemed like a good time to get away. Boy... was I wrong. Not wrong on the markets, but wrong on the markets being quiet. Arriving back in the States having not seen a newspaper for two weeks and with limited access to internet, I was surprised to see some of the moves in the major markets. I was also happy to see the price of crude oil!! I have known for a long time that news is not the important driver of price action. Most new traders believe they needed to be glued to the news every second of the day, frightened they will miss some news headline. Here's a little secret... the most important element in the market is not the news, it is the market action itself. Everything else is secondary. In my new video I explain exactly how we look at the market and how you can benefit from looking at the market the same way. The new video is only four minutes long and I think you'll find it fresh, timeless and interesting. The simplicity speaks for itself. Enjoy the video, Adam Hewison President, INO.com

Stock Market Technical Analysis S&P, Emini & Futures 8-19-08

How would you like day trading the stock market for a living? www.youtube.com/user/Eminidaytrader Stock Market Technical Analysis S&P500, Emini & Futures. I WILL SHOW YOU A SYSTEMATIC S&P500 FUTURES DAY TRADING SYSTEM THAT TELLS YOU EXACTLY WHERE TO BUY RETRACEMENTS IN UPTRENDS AND SELL RETRACEMENTS IN DOWNTRENDS TO THE EXACT BAR. ANY SUCCESSFUL S&P500 FUTURES TRADER WILL TELL YOU THAT MAKING MONEY IN THE S&P500FUTURES MARKET IS AS SIMPLE AS THE "RUBBER BAND TRADE". BUYING/SELLING RETRACEMENTS WITH THE INTRADAY TECHNICAL TREND. BEING A 15 YEAR TRADER AND DAY TRADING FOR A LIVING USING THE E-MINI FUTURES MARKETS, I WILL SHOW YOU EXACTLY HOW YOU CAN DAYTRADE THE S&P500 FUTURES MARKET WITH EXTREME ACCURACY IN ONLY 2 HOURS A DAY. You are now viewing one of the most powerful day trading s&p500 futures systems on the market today. It was designed and developed with a single purpose in mind...MAKING MONEY IN THE S&P500 FUTURES MARKET. Are you like most daytraders that sit in front of their computers all day and trade 20-30 times a day to only make 1-3 points? After commissions you barely make a profit or end up overtrading and losing for the day. How would you like to trade 2-4 times a day and go after the 5-20 point MONSTER DAYTRADES? These are the trades you dream about. Imagine having a day trading system that consistently spots S&P500 FUTURES trades with tight stops. I'TS FINALLY HERE! Welcome to the system that can generate these dream trades every single day. TRADING PHILOSOPHY "TRADE WHAT YOU SEE, INSTEAD OF WHAT YOU BELEIVE". You will now know exactly when to buy/sell the futures market with confidence. Before every trade you will know the exact entry, stop loss and trailing stop loss. Over 15 years of Day Trading the S&P500 Futures Market I have developed a day trading system that can capture huge moves in the S&P500 with small stops. The key to any successful day trading program is knowing when to pull the trigger, having a pre-determined stop loss and a trailing stop loss so you can cut your losers short and let your winners run. I will teach you a proven Day Trading system that will allow you to buy retracements in uptrends and sell retracements in downtrends-NEVER COUNTER-TREND TRADING. You will be trading what the pros know. So many beginning s&p emini futures day traders wash out of the stock market because they counter-trend trade. I will teach you how to day trade with the pros and not counter the market but trade with the smart money. I will teach you the powerful snapback trades(RUBBER-BAND) trades that only a few S&P500 Day Traders know. Here are the CONCRETE rules that you must not break when DAY TRADING the S&P500 E-mini market. 1. DAILY CHART-I WILL SHOW YOU TWO MOVING AVERAGES THAT ONLY THE PROS USE. THIS WILL SHOW YOU THE OVERALL DIRECTION OF THE MARKET. 2. LONG-TERM TIME FRAME-TWO MOVING AVERAGES THAT ARE EXTREMLY IMPORTANT ON AN INTRADAY BASIS. ONE AVERAGE(MAGENTA IN VIDEOS) TURNS THE MARKET ON A DIME. THE SECOND MOST IMPORTANT MOVING AVERAGE IS THE WHITE STOP LINE. VERY SIMPLE IF YOU ARE ABOVE IT YOU ONLY TAKE LONGS IF YOU ARE BELOW IT ONLY TAKE SHORTS. 3. INTERMEDIATE TICK CHARTS-ONCE YOU KNOW THE BIAS TO BUY OR SELL FOR THE DAY THEN YOU LOOK AT THESE TWO TICK CHARTS FOR RETRACEMENTS OR SNAPBACKS TO FIND AREAS TO SHORT/BUY WITH THE TREND OF THE LONG-TERM TIME FRAME. 4.EXECUTION CHART-KNOWING THE DIRECTION AND AREA IS NOT ENOUGH. YOU WILL KNOW THE EXACT SETUP TO LOOK FOR TO ENTER, EXIT AND WHERE TO PLACE YOUR STOP LOSS WHICH IS ONLY .75-1.25 ON AVERAGE FOR THOSE MONSTER TRADES. THIS SETUP IS VERY SPECIFIC TO THE EXACT BAR. SUMMARY: I USE THE DAILY CHART FOR MAIN TONE OR DIRECTION OF THE S&P500 EMINI FUTURES MARKET. THEN I USE A LONG-TERM ADAPTIVE TIME FRAME TO SHOW ME INTRADAY TO EITHER TAKE LONGS OR SHORTS. THEN I LOOK FOR A RETRACEMENT ON MY INTERMEDIATE TICK CHARTS FOR AREAS OF SUPPORT/RESISTANCE. THEN I USE A SPECIFIC SETUP WITH DIVERGENCE TO ENTER THE MARKET WITH A VERY TIGHT STOP. AFTER ENTRY I USE MONEY MANAGEMENT TO SCALE OUT FOR CHOP DAYS AND A TRAILING STOP FOR TREND DAYS. A COMPLETE POWERFUL FUTURES DAY TRADING SYSTEM!!!!!! Buy purchasing the book you agree that you will not disclose any of the trade set-ups or any other confidential information obtained from the trading philosophy and settings obtained from Jay Wireman. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those charts that are shown. There is a risk of loss in all forms of trading. Futures day trading has large potential rewards, but also large potential risk. This is neither a solicitation nor an offer to buy/sell futures. The book you will be buying is published for educational purposes only. It is up to you to use the knowledge. Consult a licensed professional about your individual trading. The past performance of any trading system or methodology is not necessarily indicative of future results.

Finding a Test Photographer

When starting out a career as a model- a portfolio is a necessary marketing tool. If you have already sent your digital photos to the agents you wish to pursue and you have yet to receive any responses- finding a quality test photographer is your next step. Now this information is just as useful for those who already have representation because building a portfolio book will be your primary goal throughout your career.I personally continue to update my portfolio. This keeps your photos current and any existing clients or agents you have- interested. My first suggestion in finding a quality test photographer would be to call a reputable agency and ask for a referral. Most agencies have a list of photographers they suggest to the models they represent. If you are already attending castings, look at the other books of the models. If you see some photos you like, ask them what test photographers they have used and who they recommend. In any case, a referral can go a long way in choosing the right one. The Internet can be a good source but proceed with caution! There are a lot of weird people out there and besides the safety issue there is a quality issue as well. You still need to make sure the photographer you have chosen will produce the kind of photos that will get you work. To help insure this I strongly suggest you meet with a handful of photographers before choosing one. Set up a time to interview them. After all- they are providing you a service and it is your right to meet with them first. Ask every photographer to not only show you their book but to show their latest test session with another model. Review all of the photos for lighting and background variations and to see how many great shots that model got. If you only see a couple you like- your experience is bound to be the same. The average cost of a testing session ranges from $400 to $650- depending on how many different looks are shot. The average is four clothing changes. These prices usually do not include a hair and make-up artist- that is about $100 additional. Guys can save the money by bringing a compact of face powder that matches your skin tone to eliminate any shine on set. Girls should go ahead and make the additional investment because make-up for photography is far different than your everyday application. Doing your own make-up could make the quality of your photos suffer in the long run. When deciding on your clothing for a test shoot you will want to detail the different looks you are trying to achieve. For example, if you are pursuing commercial print modeling you will need commercial print photos for your book and a photographer who generally shoots this style of photos. The same goes for fashion. You can hire a clothing stylist that will bring an assortment of coordinating outfits to the shoot for you for about $150. Everyone can save money by doing this on his or her own. Look for examples in magazines and catalogues, borrow clothes from stylish friends and add them to your own then go to the mall and get ideas from the different stores. If you still don't feel you have enough, then buy a couple of things at the discount outlets. Leave the tags on them! The ones you did not use at the shoot can be returned. At least this way if you spend $100 on a handful of new items- you get to keep them. You should know that on occasion you could find a photographer to do a free test. This is how a photographer builds their book. They look for models to shoot with them in exchange for free photos. You can ask your agency if they know of any of these opportunities. You can also contact a stock photographer. A stock photographer catalogues all kinds of shots to sell to various companies that do not want to invest in their own shoot to produce advertising. In this case you make some extra money and build a book at the same time. In any case, be aware of any photographer that charges more than the average cost detailed earlier. There are a lot of scams out there and they are rampant among test photographers, so do your homework and be a good consumer.

Also, they may call the S&P CME SP Pit Traded contract, 'the big contract' or 'the S&P'. The broadcasters are calling the trades within a few feet of the S&P CME SP trading pit and are referring to the S&P CME SP contract. You are hearing the broadcasters quote the current bid and offer of the S&P CME SP pit traded contract - quickly. When they say '0 even bid at one half', that could mean 1280.00 is the bid and 1280.50 is the offer. But could also mean, 1290.00 is the bid and 1290.50 is the offer. They are broadcasting tick for tick and must quote the figures to stay with the pit action. When the pit is packed and active they may just say, '0 at half' or '20 bid at 70'. Millennium train's from around the Sydney Australia p2

The global time differences between Australia, the USA and Europe mean Australian designers are at work while many international clients are asleep. Design Resource works with international design partners to take advantage of these time zone differences and design 'around the clock'. In this way the group can produce faster results for their clients giving Design Resource a competitive edge in the market. About one third of the work done by Design Resource is in the area of transport design, working with its partner company in the UK under the name Transport Design International (TDI). Together the two studios aim to provide a 24-hour design service. Their projects include interior and exterior styling of passenger trains, light rail and pleasure craft for Australia, the UK and Asia. Design Resource has worked with the NSW Government on a number of transport projects, including the 'Millennium' train. The group collaborated with the manufacturer, EDI Rail, over a 2½ year period to design the interior and exterior of the train. A design concept model and a 3-D computer animation were part of the designers' bid with EDI to win the project. A full-size model was also constructed to test the design. Designers in Sydney worked with their UK counterparts 'around the clock' to complete the design and documentation for the project. 'At first sight the train had to be clearly a step above anything that was produced previously and we certainly achieved that. Our ambition or our objective was to turn the rolling stock into something which was much closer to an aircraft interior.

Home Depot Coupons

In the end it came down to the headstrong CEO's refusal to accept even a symbolic reduction in his stock package. Home Depot Inc.'s board of directors wanted their controversial chief executive, Robert L. Nardelli, to amend his whopping compensation deals for recent years. After he pulled down $38.1 million from his last yearly contract, angry investors were promising an ugly fight at the company's annual meeting in May. Nardelli agreed that he would continue to receive a guaranteed $3 million bonus each year, but not more. But that's as far as he would go. When board members asked him to more closely tie his future stock awards to shareholder gains, he refused, according to people familiar with the matter. Nardelli has complained for years that share price is the one measure of company performance that he can't control. After weeks of secret negotiations, things came to a head at a board meeting on Jan. 2, leading to Home Depot's stunning announcement the next day that the company and Nardelli had "mutually agreed" that he would resign. "The board loved him and hates the way this ended up," says a person familiar with the matter. But in a season of growing antipathy toward extravagantly paid executives, the directors felt they had no choice. On his way out the door, however, Nardelli negotiated another jaw-dropper: a $210 million retirement package that assures that he and his former employer will remain at the center of the swirling debate over CEO compensation. Nardelli declined to comment. The sudden fall of one of America's best-known CEOs illustrates how perilous times have become for corporate leaders. Pointing to gargantuan pay and widespread manipulation of stock options, institutional shareholders are calling for top executives and board members to be held accountable. At Home Depot (HD) there were other points of contention: a sluggish stock price in an otherwise rising market and Nardelli's notoriously imperious manner. Judged solely by certain company financial measures, Nardelli, 58, should have enjoyed acclaim for transforming Home Depot from a faltering retail chain into an earnings juggernaut. Driven by a housing and home improvement boom, sales soared from $46 billion in 2000, the year Nardelli took over, to $81.5 billion in 2005, an average annual growth rate of 12%. Profits more than doubled, to $5.8 billion that year. TUMULTUOUS TENURE During the current housing slowdown, however, the financials have eroded. In the third quarter of 2006, same-store sales at Home Depot's 2,127 retail stores declined 5.1%. And with the stock price recently stuck at just over 40, roughly the same as when Nardelli arrived six years ago, he could no longer rely on other sterile metrics to assuage the quivering anger his arrogance provoked within every one of his key constituencies: employees, customers, and shareholders. Nardelli's "numbers were quite good," says Matthew Fassler, an analyst at Goldman Sachs (GS). But "the fact is that this retail organization never really embraced his leadership style." The CEO's reputation also suffered because of Wall Street's affection for Home Depot's smaller archrival, Lowe's Companies, whose stock price has soared more than 200% since 2000, while Home Depot's shares declined 6%, according to Bloomberg data. A simmering options backdating investigation at Home Depot hasn't helped matters either, though an internal company review has thus far exonerated Nardelli. At another time, Nardelli's impressive operating numbers might have saved him. Perhaps he would have learned to temper an ego nurtured during a long career at General Electric (GE). But in a prolonged season of hostility toward overweening CEOs, the former GE power systems phenom couldn't hold on. "He's not a very humble guy. www.businessweek.com/bwdaily/dnflash/content/jan2007/db20070103_456441.htm

Home Depot Commercial

The really important question about the sale of Home Depot's construction supply business isn't the price, which Home Depot lowered 18% on Aug. 28, to $8.5 billion, after round-the-clock negotiations. The real issue is whether the unit should be sold at all. Some upset investors argue that by selling HD Supply, which serves contractors rather than do-it-yourselfers, Home Depot's new management is dumping its best hope for future growth simply to finance a stock buyback and exorcise the ghost of ex-Chief Executive Robert Nardelli, who masterminded the purchase. They say Home Depot (HD) is giving away a prize to a bunch of smart buyout firms that will extract huge profits from it over the long term. Even at the original higher price of $10.3 billion, the HD Supply sale struck some big Home Depot shareholders as misguided. "There was a lot of politics involved," says Marvin Roffman, founder of investment company Roffman Miller Associates, which owns 172,000 shares of Home Depot. He says the sale will sacrifice future growth to appease hedge funds such as Relational Investors. Relational, run by Ralph Whitworth, has two seats on the Home Depot board and helped drive the sale of the HD Supply business. Atlanta-headquartered HD Supply, which accounts for $13 billion of Home Depot's $93 billion in revenue, was acquired under Nardelli's leadership. Nardelli's successor, Frank Blake, moved swiftly to sell it after the hard-driving Nardelli was ousted in January because he refused to accept a cut in his huge pay package. (Nardelli has since been hired by Cerberus Capital Management to run Chrysler.) New management appeared to go to great lengths to erase any sign of Nardelli's tenure. Roffman says that's a shame. "I really thought Nardelli's idea was pretty good. The do-it-yourself market is a mature business, and I thought the contractor supply business, fragmented among thousands of small independent dealers, was where the do-it-yourself market was 20 years ago," Roffman says. Proponents of the sale say the contractor supply business is even more volatile than the consumer market, has lower margins, and is a distraction to management. "The sale is a good idea because it gives Home Depot management a chance to focus on what it does best: growing the franchise in the U.S. and in select markets elsewhere such as Mexico, Canada, and China. That is enough for one management to do," says Craig Johnson, president of consultancy Customer Growth Partners, in New Canaan, Conn.://www.businessweek.com/bwdaily/dnflash/content/aug2007/db20070828_932941.htm?campaign_id=tbw%22
